We believe that visiting college campuses helps students and their families make an informed decision and allows them visualize success and make it attainable.
2023 BFR College Tour Stops + Information
- Raise local/regional college awareness within the economically disadvantaged communities in the Greater Cincinnati region
- Help students learn to assess the college’s ”fit” for their individual goals/ needs by meeting key staff, departments and interacting with current students
- Connect the students to alumni from various institutions so they can understand more about the school and their programs
- Ensure they will be able to explore a variety of academic opportunities and begin to understand/ inquire about the various options to pay for college including scholarships and financial aid at the different colleges
- Students will also be able to inquire about the career and graduate school placement outcomes for each campus
The Inaugural 2023 BFR College tour will take place on Friday August 18th, 2023 and will visit 4 colleges

We are anticipating 40 students that are African American and or come from diverse backgrounds that have expressed interest in college or have been identified by their school administration as a student that would excel in the collegiate environment once they understand the admissions process.
